    Up for auction is a a very RARE 1930's Aloxite Brand Aluminum Oxide MANF'D By The Carborundum Co. Niagara Falls N.Y. USA. Shipping Barrel. Is made of fibre with a wooden bottom and top and bottom metal rings. Has a nice original paper label featuring a picture of the Niagara falls. THERE IS NO LID. Barrel is in good antique condition, Some minor soiling small tear on corner of label , top ring little loose.This would of held the chemicals used to produce Antique Razor Hones in the 1920's - 1930's. Measures about 8 1/2" tall x 10" wide. This is a very rare piece of advertising and you probably will never see another of these so bid early as it will sell quickly.An awesome piece of advertising to add to your collection.Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding.
