    Description

1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8L Auto
    286,xxx miles.
Semi-daily driver for the last six years. Previously from California (had a CA title).
Don’t let the miles scare you - this truck is very reliable and in very good daily driver condition. Starts, runs, drives, shifts, steers, stops, etc. very well. 4x4 works properly including low range. No strange noises, smells, vibrations, etc. I suspect both the engine and transmission have been replaced/rebuilt at some point but this is only a guess as they work awfully well to be original.
Feel free to call or text 314-326-1299 or email if you have any questions or would just like more information on the truck. Email sometimes goes to spam so please text me if I haven't replied.
I have done more to this truck than I could possibly remember. Please inquire about specific items if you are concerned. Some key items:
Full tune up including distributor and MSD coil and AutoLite platinum plugs, Red Head fully rebuilt steering gearbox, Delphi fuel pump and fuel filter, Mile Marker front manual hubs and National wheel bearings, Spicer U-joints and centering ball in the rear driveshaft, starter with heavy duty wiring, Valvoline transmission fluid, filter, pan and Fel-Pro seal, and upgraded shift solenoid, new PCM (computer), upgraded Bosch alternator, Murray water pump including Fel-Pro timing cover gasket and coolant flush, Fel-Pro oil pan gasket and crank seal, Valvoline gearbox fluids replaced routinely, Gates belt, Gates heater hoses and lower radiator hose, new battery this year, Bosch rear brake shoes, KYB upgraded mono-shock shocks front and rear, a/c serviced but found to have no loss of refrigerant, alignment checked, no exhaust leaks, passed safety and emissions last month
All power items work - windows, door locks, lighting, climate controls, etc. All gauges work properly.
32” BFGoodrich AT KO2 tires with at least 85% tread remaining
Fresh Valvoline Maxlife oil change with Motorcraft filter
    Body/Interior
Interior is very clean not mint.
New gauge lens, shift boot, gear indicator mechanism, Pioneer deck and JBL speakers, alarm with keyless entry, window tracks and seals as needed in the front and tailgate, striker bolt bushings front and tailgate, new headlights and tail lights, rear tire cover, WeatherTech cargo liner and DIY cargo cover, sound deadener applied to front door panels, tailgate, and side panels in cargo area
Issues include faded paint on cab roof, dings scuffs and scratches on top ledge of tailgate, some bird dropping stains on hood, headliner is starting to come loose in places, rear defrost doesn’t work, one burn hole in driver's seat bottom, spare tire needs to be replaced, compass module in overhead console doesn’t work
Truck is 26 years old and has several minor scratches, scuffs, etc. No dents or major body issues except listed above. No rust except surface rust on undercarriage. No coolant, transmission, fuel, brake, or gearbox leaks. Minor oil leak from rear main seal and possibly elsewhere - does NOT leave drops on the ground.
Again, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like more information. I am fairly certain I have put around 00 and countless hours of research, maintenance, repair, and love into this truck since owning it. I did all work myself minus mounting and balancing the tires. This is a beautiful truck from ten feet but it is not a show truck. Please keep that in mind. I have tried to be as honest as possible about its condition. There is no reason this truck should not give you many more years and miles, and no reason you shouldn’t be able to drive it home anywhere in the country.
