Antique Veeder Root Tally Counter 1899 Patent

Description

This is a real nice early Veeder Root mechanical counter. It is 5 digits, not resettable and carries an 1899 patent date. With the finger lever, it most assuredly was used for some sort of tally purpose. The pins on the bottom also indicate that it was meant to be inserted and removed from some sort of device. The original nickel plating is fabulous.
