The threads machined in the body are kept to 5/16-18 2B specifications. And finally the body is made with 6061-T6 grade aluminum, the most commonly used aluminum that is among the most versatile aluminum alloy. Known for its strength, and corrosion resistance. That has the bonus of being light weight.
