This motor performs best for quiet operation, rugged durability and precise control. The new X5 cable-steer motor, MotorGuide's most advanced tournament-caliber motor, is engineered to deliver precise control, quiet operation, and rugged durability. With its patented Variable Ratio Steering (VRS) technology, the X5 helps anglers to precisely position their boat and stay on fish, even in challenging conditions like wind, rough water, and heavy cover. Plus, VRS virtually eliminates torque steering feedback, so you can fight the fish, instead of the motor.
Digital Power Management extends battery life up to five times to keep anglers fishing longer and digital technology operates at lower temperatures so that more power is provided to the thrust motor. Improved efficiency means longer run time and fewer battery charges.
