    Description

Vintage Surfboard.Sea Ski Surfboards Steve Walden Rainbow/snakeskin Airbrush 1973 Wings 6'7". Steve Walden had a shop on 5th Street in Huntington Beach between 1973 and 74. This is a single center box fin with large wings, diamond tail, Walden with was with sea ski  at that time and was the first one making a board with wings. Carl Haywood Ranchi and ski for quite a while at that time, along with Dyno and Pacific surfboards. Ron Lingenfelter , his son can still be found at the watermansguild, took over sea and ski and Steve moved to Kauai in 74. There is a thread on swaylocks talking about Walden and sea ski. Been sitting in rafters for years in Aptos California does have some open dings the tips of the wings the diamond tail tip and a couple on the sides minor scratches that will buff out, board measures 6 ft 7 in by 19 and a half wide by 3 in thick and weighs 13 and a half pounds. The airbrush is pretty cool what I call a snake skin pattern on top with a nice Rainbow on the bottom.
